Fast. Reliable. Responsible. House clearance across Dublin, six days a week.

About Junk Removal

We are a Dublin clearance crew, not a franchise and not a call centre. The people who quote your job from photos are the people who turn up in the van, carry everything out and sweep the floor before they leave.

What we do

House clearances, apartment clearances, attic, shed and garage clear outs, storage unit and office clearances, bereavement and hoarder clearances, and plain junk removal. If it is in a property and it needs to leave, we can almost always take it. Ask us first about anything unusual, such as chemicals or gas cylinders, because we do not carry hazardous waste. The full list is on our services page.

How we work

Every job starts with photos and ends with a swept floor. You send us pictures on WhatsApp or through the quote form, we give you a fixed price for the whole job, and a two-person crew arrives with a box van at the agreed time. We carry everything out from wherever it is, we sort it on the van so good things are not wasted, and we deliver what is left to a licensed waste transfer station.

We do not charge by the hour, we do not add surprises for stairs, and we do not leave bags on the footpath for the next day.

Responsible disposal, without the made-up numbers

A lot of clearance websites promise a precise recycling percentage. We would rather tell you what we actually do. Usable furniture, kitchenware, clothing and working appliances are set aside for reuse, donation or resale wherever we can arrange it. Metal, timber, cardboard, textiles and electricals are separated for recycling. What is genuinely waste goes to a licensed transfer station under our Waste Collection Permit, which means every load is traceable. Our guide to what happens to your items after a clearance explains the process in full.

The legal bit

junkremoval.ie is operated by Krystal Klean Express Limited, trading as Krystal Klean, an authorised waste carrier holding a valid Waste Collection Permit issued by the National Waste Collection Permit Office, Permit No. NWCPO-25-13287-01. That permit is what allows us to collect waste from your property and deliver it to licensed facilities. If a clearance company cannot show you a permit number, ask why.

Sensitive clearances

A large part of our work is clearing homes after a death, and clearing homes that have become unmanageable. These are not “junk” jobs, and we do not treat them as such. Our bereavement clearance and hoarder clearance pages explain how we approach them: discreetly, at the family’s pace, and with anything personal or valuable set aside rather than loaded.

Where we are

We are a Dublin crew and we travel to you, so there is nothing to bring to us. Crews work Monday to Saturday across Dublin city and county, Kildare and north Wicklow, and travel further into Leinster for full-house and larger clearances. The office is open Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturday 8am to 2pm. For the areas we are in most weeks, see areas we cover.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

Who operates junkremoval.ie?

junkremoval.ie is operated by Krystal Klean Express Limited, an Irish company trading as Krystal Klean, which is an authorised waste carrier holding Waste Collection Permit NWCPO-25-13287-01 from the National Waste Collection Permit Office. If the property also needs a professional clean afterwards, that is a separate job for a cleaning company, and we are happy to time the clearance around it.

Where are you based and where do you work?

We are based in Dublin, and we work across Dublin city and county, County Kildare and north Wicklow, six days a week. Beyond that, we go out to towns across the rest of Leinster for full-house and larger clearances, and the travel is included in the fixed price.

Are you insured?

Yes, fully insured for domestic and commercial clearance work. We can provide a copy of the insurance certificate for office buildings and management companies that require one.

Is Junk Removal a franchise or a booking agent?

Neither. We are a Dublin clearance crew working under our own name, so when you message us you are dealing with the people who will price the job and then carry it out. Nobody sits between you and the crew, and your job is not passed on to another firm.

Who will turn up to do the job?

Usually two people and a box van from our own Dublin crew. They carry everything out from wherever it is in the property, sort it on the van so reusable and recyclable items are kept apart, and sweep the floors before they go. On a big or very full house, we tell you at the quote stage if it needs more than one load or visit.

How can I check you are a genuine company?

Start with the waste permit: ours is NWCPO-25-13287-01, and the National Waste Collection Permit Office can confirm it is valid. The company behind the site, Krystal Klean Express Limited, is registered in Ireland, and our mobile, landline and email address are all published on the contact page. If any clearance firm cannot give you a permit number, that alone is worth a second thought.

Are there jobs you turn down?

A few. Hazardous waste, from asbestos to solvents and gas bottles, is not something we carry, and a big pile of rubble or soil is really a job for a skip or a builder's waste service. Any cleaning the property needs afterwards is a job for a specialist cleaning company, and we will happily work to their timing.

Can I drop items off at your base?

No, we only collect. Our crews come to you, so there is no public drop-off point, and for a car boot of recycling or a few hazardous items your local council recycling centre is the right place. If you have more than a car load, a photo on WhatsApp gets you a collection price.

Why might I see the name Krystal Klean when dealing with you?

Because Krystal Klean is the trading name of Krystal Klean Express Limited, the company that operates junkremoval.ie. It can appear on paperwork such as invoices, but the clearance itself is quoted and carried out by the same Junk Removal crew you have been talking to.

What if I am not happy with how a job went?

Tell us straight away, by phone or WhatsApp on 085 202 1222 or by email to info@junkremoval.ie, ideally with photos of the problem. The people you reach are the people responsible for the work, so there is no head office or call centre to get through first.
