How we take these photos

Before the crew starts, we photograph each room from the doorway. When the room is empty and swept, we take the same shot again. That is all there is to it, and it is why the before and after angles do not always line up perfectly: these are working photos, not a photoshoot.

We share the photos with the customer, especially when they could not be there on the day, and with their permission some end up on this page. We never show faces, number plates, house numbers or anything that could identify the property.

Want the same for your property?

Send a few photos of the space, whatever state it is in, and we will come back with a fixed price. See how much a house clearance costs, how to prepare for the day, or go straight to the quote form.

Frequently asked questions

Are these photos from real jobs?

Yes. Every before and after pair on this page was taken by our crew on a real clearance, in the same room on the same day. We do not use stock photos, and we never publish anything that identifies a customer or their address.

Why do some of the after photos still have furniture in them?

Because the customer asked us to leave it. A clearance clears what you want gone, so a bed, a wardrobe or a kitchen table is sometimes kept for a new tenant, a family member or the sale.

Do you sweep up after a clearance?

Yes. Once a room is empty we sweep the floor and take the loose debris with us, which is what you see in the after photos. A sweep is not a clean, though, so a property that needs proper cleaning should have a cleaner booked for after the clearance.

How long does it take to get a room from the before to the after?

A single room or an attic is usually an hour or two for a two-person crew. A full house takes most of a day, and a heavily hoarded property can take longer. We give you a realistic time along with the quote.

Can you send me photos of my own clearance afterwards?

Yes, and many customers who live abroad or cannot be there ask us to. We photograph each room once it is cleared and send the photos by WhatsApp or email.

Will you put photos of my house on your website?

Only if you agree, and never in a way that shows your address, your face or anything personal. Most customers are happy for a photo of an empty room to be used; if you would rather not, just say so.

Do the photos show what happens to the items afterwards?

No, they show the space. What happens to the items is explained in our guide: usable furniture and goods are set aside for reuse or donation where we can arrange it, recyclables are separated, and the rest goes to a licensed waste transfer station.

My house looks worse than any of these. Can you still help?

Almost certainly. Some of the rooms on this page had floors you could not see, and we have cleared properties where whole rooms could not be opened. Send photos, even bad ones, and we will tell you honestly what it will take.

Can I get a quote from my own before photos?

Yes, that is how most of our quotes are done. Send photos of each room, the attic, shed or garage on WhatsApp to 085 202 1222, tell us the area, and we will reply with a fixed price for the whole job.

Do you clear sheds, garages and storage units too, or only houses?

All of them. The gallery is grouped by type of job, and each section links to the service page with more detail on how we clear that kind of space.

Want yours to look like the "after"?

Send a few photos of the space on WhatsApp and we will come back with a fixed price.
