Office clearances we do
- Relocations, where the new office is furnished and the old furniture has nowhere to go.
- Closures and wind-downs, including the archive boxes, the kitchenette and the stuff in the comms room.
- Refits, clearing a floor so the fit-out contractor can start.
- Surplus furniture after a move to hybrid working: half the desks, most of the chairs, all the pedestals.
- Shops and small commercial units at the end of a lease: shelving, counters, stock room contents, signage.

What we remove from offices
Desks and workstations, office chairs, pedestals and filing cabinets, meeting tables, storage cupboards, shelving and partitions (lightly dismantled), reception furniture, whiteboards, monitors, computers, printers and photocopiers, phones, cabling, kitchen appliances, carpet tiles and vinyl flooring that is already lifted, packaging, archive boxes and paperwork.
Office furniture in good condition is kept aside for reuse or resale where we can arrange it; a lot of desking and seating has a second life. Metal goes for scrap recycling, IT equipment goes into WEEE recycling, cardboard and paper are separated, and the rest goes to a licensed transfer station under our Waste Collection Permit.
How we work in commercial buildings
Office clearances live and die by the building. We ask for the loading bay details, the goods lift hours, whether the building requires a method statement or insurance certificate (we are fully insured and can provide the certificate), and whether security needs names in advance. Then we plan the clearance around your staff so nobody is working beside a crew carrying out desks.
For larger jobs we clear in phases: surplus first, then the main floor after the move, then the leftover bits before the landlord’s inspection.
Confidential material and data
We bag paperwork separately from general waste and keep it that way until it reaches whoever is doing your shredding. We do not wipe computers. If data security matters, which it usually does, have your IT provider remove drives or wipe machines before collection.
Bigger than an office?
Factory, warehouse and industrial unit clearances need different vehicles and a different approach, so they are a job for a specialist warehouse clearance service. For an office’s worth of furniture that has ended up in a storage unit, we clear those too.
Get a quote for an office clearance
Send photos of each area, the building address, the floor, and what you know about the lift and loading bay. We will come back with a fixed price and a plan, including an out-of-hours slot if the building needs one. A single item or two is priced the same way.
