Apartment clearances are a different job
A house has a front door and a driveway. An apartment has a concierge, a fob, a lift that must be booked, a loading bay with a time limit, and a management company that would like notice. We work regularly in Dublin apartment blocks, from Georgian conversions in the city centre to the large developments in Sandyford, Docklands, Tallaght and Blanchardstown, and we know what each kind needs.

Who we clear apartments for
- Tenants moving out who need their own furniture gone before the inspection, so the deposit comes back in full. Our apartment clearance guide explains what inspectors look for.
- Landlords and letting agents turning a unit around between tenancies, or dealing with belongings a tenant left behind.
- Owners selling who want the apartment empty for photographs and viewings.
- Families clearing a relative’s flat, often a parent who moved from a house into an apartment and brought a house worth of things with them. Where this follows a death, our bereavement clearance service applies.
- Management companies that need a unit, a bin store or a common area cleared of dumped items.
What we take from apartments
Beds, mattresses, sofas, wardrobes, dining sets, desks and office chairs, flat-pack furniture (we take it as it is, no need to dismantle), fridges, washing machines, dryers, televisions and electricals, balcony furniture, rugs, curtains, the contents of the hot press and the storage cage in the car park. Bagged rubbish is fine too. If you only need one or two items gone, our furniture removal page is the right one.
Working around the building
Tell us the floor, whether there is a lift, where the van can park, and whether the concierge needs a name. We arrange the rest. In older converted houses with no lift we carry everything down by hand, which we price for; in modern blocks we book the lift and protect it if the management company asks.
We keep hallways clear while we work and we never leave items in corridors or at the bin store. Everything goes straight into the van and away the same day.
The end-of-tenancy angle
If you are a landlord preparing a property for the next tenant, clearing is one step of several. If the carpets need doing before viewings, end-of-tenancy carpet cleaning is a separate specialist service.
What happens to the furniture
Flat-pack and upholstered furniture rarely has resale value, but solid pieces, kitchenware and appliances in working order often do, and we keep those aside for reuse or donation where we can. Everything else is sorted into recycling streams, and genuine waste goes to a licensed transfer station under our Waste Collection Permit.
Apartment clearances also pair well with storage unit clearances: a lot of people moving out of a Dublin apartment are also paying for a unit they no longer need.
